SONGS

Using aunthentic songs in the EFL class is one of the best ways of teaching a foreign language. The atmosphere is more relaxed when listening to a song. Students are highly motivated and their attitude is usually positive. As a consequence, they will get involved more easily.
Authentic songs can help the students develop the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and they are a good example of the language in use. 
Whether to practise or revise language content(grammatical or comprenhension, to present a topic or language content, to stimulate speaking through discussions, or to encourage creativity, the most important thing is to find the appropriate song that will suit your purposes.

Songs may be exploited more thoroughly by preparing warm-up activities, while-listening activities and follow-up activities.
